Tibbe is doing well, after such a short time, and getting the xtra petting from Danny cheered him up. They sure appreciate attention.
Austin is doing well but I wonder if he will be ok when he is off the Cerenia anti nausea meds tomorrow. He is eating well with pretty good poops so I think he is well on the mend. But I will worry until I am sure he is really ok again. He is usually so well, I am not used to having him sick. I seem so tired all the time and find it hard to get the extra energy to take care of him when I get so little sleep. Somehow he wakes me when he poops in the middle of the night and I can't get back to sleep. But hoping that wont go on for many more nights.
I wonder how you get up enough strength to care for Tibbe with all you have been through. Somehow we get energy when needed by our sad pets.
So keep well yourself and give Tibbe a big kiss from us.
Warmest thoughts and wishes.

Having a dogloving son helps!

I'll bet Austin just had a bug upset or foraged something in the yard as Tibbe can do, the little bugger. Yorkies have the iffyist of tummies! The least thing can do them in. Tibbe is his own worst enemy - can scarf up forbidden things outside B4 I know what's going on unless I'm right beside him. Amazing he's lived to age 10! His 10th Birthday was yesterday and as much of a cowboy as he is, it's amazing he's made it this far! He's always got his nose to the ground for whatever he can find! Imagine the same is true w/Austin - these little monsters are hard to manage a great deal of the time thanks to the fact they think they are 10 feet tall and rule the world! All I can say is, thank God for vets, Cerenia and that stuff that k-pectin or whatever that stuff is that stops diarrhea!!!

Is Austin on probiotics?

Spent 8 hours at the ER vet Sat. w/Tibbe and saw so many horrors while I was there in waiting room while Tibbe was back getting his shot, resting and in treatment I never ever want to go back there!!! Finally they sent me home in the wee hours, finished w/Tibbe and Danny came and brought him home Sunday a.m. for me and then shuttled him to and from vet Tuesday. But I'll never forget what I saw brought in while I waited!

Am so glad he and Austin seem to be on the mend! Now, if we can just hear from Linda and the rest of our Texans that they are all still dry and safe.
