I thought I would share something. Callie has allergies and has since she was 5 or so. Well she had infected nail beds on her paws and then it became yeast. Well I saw a thing from Dr. Becker about soaking your dogs paws in an iodine and water mixture so considering I had nothing to loose and tested in on my own sore finger to make sure it didn't burn. I have been doing this every other night for a bit over a week and it is making a big difference almost all of them are healed up or mostly healed. I honestly do not know if there is any science behind it but it works at least for Callie. It takes two people because she is 18 pounds and you have to soak each paw for 2-5 minutes but its worth it. I used to wipe her paws every night with sensitive baby wipes and I'm thinking that it kept them moist and made things worse so I stopped doing that. I also gave her, her second shot of Cytopint (by myself) and she has not broken out all over her back like she used to in 2 months so things are looking good right now for Callie Mae.
