Well...first...just please don't get your hopes up *at all*, okay? And don't make him suffer through these miserable allergy symptoms for long. These over-the-counter allergy meds rarely work for dogs. The rule of thumb for most Vet Derms is to give the allergy OTC meds a 10-day try to evaluate. Most likely, you'll need to proceed to giving Atopica or Apoquel or Cytopoint.
