I would agree with much of what's been said. I'm only embarrassed to say I own a yorkie by its an expectation. People see me see dainty petite woman and they think she should have a dainty and petite pet. So I joke with people when I'm asked and say I have a Doberman bc that's totally unexpected.

Yorkies are hard to potty train there are some that are happy but you can train your dog to be better behaved and well mannered that's all up to the owner. I've had my challenges as a yorkie parent with potty training (Emma and Troy) but I worked hard to get them outside trained. Emma is much more aggressive compared to how Troy was so I've been working on socialization with her not to be that way with dogs. She's a sweetie with people.
