Occasionally, we have to leave our little girl home for longer than we like. She always looks at us with the saddest of puppy eyes when we prepare for this with some special precautions. Music, food, water, pee pad, chews, lovey.....all in a safe, contained area. So, we decided to use a little live-feed to see how she really does.

Shocking! Within a minute of our departure and laying the full guilt trip on us, our pup settles into her bed and is quiet and relaxed the whole time. Nibbles, uses her pad, looks around, goes back to her bed. Only when she hears the garage door open is she up and barking in anticipation. She greets us with wiggles and kisses and life resumes as normal.

We will always prepare specially for these extended times away, but our guilt and worry are MUCH reduced.
