Throat Gold cough medicine Hi fellow Yorkie lovers: My 16 lb, 13.5 year old Gabriel, Gabey for short, has had a collapsed trachea for several years now. A year and a half ago, the vet wanted to put him on a narcotic cough suppressant, which we tried. Suppressing the dog as well as the cough. Then I decided I didn't want Gabey to be on narcotics so I stopped. His real problem turned out to be his collar, which we changed to a harness and his coughing really improved. Presently, his coughing has been more frequent, at least 6-10 times a day. He's walked twice a day and he's really spunky. Eats Royal Canin dog food especially for Yorkies. So, as others do, I Googled collapsed trachea for dogs and a website came up with a possible solution: Throat Gold. The reviews were more than positive, some saying the all-natural drops had saved their dog.
What response have some of you had with this product, as i see collapsed trachea is fairly common? I sent away for two bottles, a four months supply.
I'd appreciate hearing from any of you. thank you, Matt |
