My last yorkie had genetic IBD and the vet bills were expensive. I bought pet insurance on my yorkie Kinder when I first brought her home. I am thankful I have it because she has had Uti's off and on. Now she has calcium oxalate crystals along with a Polp in her bladder. I find out Aug. 30 if she has to have surgery and I am glad she is covered. If we ever bought another puppy I would definitely buy insurance it is worth it. Susan
