Default May have to rehome female Yorkie

About a month ago, we got a wonderfully friendly and sweet 4 year old Yorkie (Masha). At first, things seemed to be tolerable between the new dog and our sweet and very friendly Yorkie, Gracie, but I noticed that Gracie acts like she is afraid to be close to the new girl and shies away. Masha has jumped on Gracie twice now, not particularly about food bowl issues, just in general. Once, I was playing with Gracie and she just ran over and got in between us.

My vet says that sometimes medication can be prescribed that might help, but he recommends behavioral training. If that is not successful, then rehoming. She is a wonderful watchdog, loving to a fault and comes easily to me for loving. I am just sick over this, but I can see the horrible effect this is having on Gracie. The dog has attached herself mainly to me and I love her.

We are on vacation, and Gracie has spent the entire time, when not outside, on our bed at the hotel. Today, my husband walked each dog outside separately and when Gracie returned, Masha met her at the room door and acted like she was going to get in her face. She comes easily to me, but walks with her head and tail down.

We are the 4th owners, experienced Yorkie owners (6 previously) and have never had a problem like this. Her history includes possible abuse by owners number 2 and some aggression towards the male Yorkie that owner number 3 owned.

What in the world am I going to do here?
