Need name suggestions for a puppy that was found as a street runner.

Breed: Yorkshire Terrier (mix). The shelter always puts mix but off the record say he is pure yorkie. When I saw him I knew he is yorkie thru and thru.

Sex: Male

Age: about 6-weeks of age. According to vet x3.

Coloring: At this point has very little tan. Hoping it will get more as it ages.

Height: Approximately 8-10 inches tall.

Coat: long needs lots of care. Looks as if it has been taped around legs and mouth. Which makes us think it was going to be used a bait dog for pit bulls that ran away when someone opened a door. We saw no scars of any kind other than where the hair will hopefully have enough roots left to regrow.

I already paid for him (with funds from that city) but needs to be at a true no kill shelter for another 2 weeks for vet check, first shots, deworming, and food stablizing. Department has a reserve officer that is also a vet so there will be top rate care.

Will be going to a police department that wants an officers stress release/PTSD dog.

All names will be placed in the crate and shipped directly to the Chief. Will NOT be flying. Have been able to arrange a dog run with friends that are traveling along the route from here to there. Last leg of the journey will be with an officer that works at the department.

Got a special name you are especially fond of post it here to help these officers release some of their stress from the worse cases/accidents.

This is a way to show these officers that you care about them.

We only have the 10 days to post names as I need to get them printed off and secured in the crate. Chief has already stated this pup will be sworn--just like his other K-9 partners but will be permanently assigned to desk duty. Absolutely no patrol duty will be allowed on in the patrol cars as the pup would not be able to brig down the escapee - a male kid that refuses to remain with the herd. And has been caught roaming the city streets a 7th time.
