Welcome to YT, what a awesome lady you are to be willing to give up your birds if must be for the sake of keeping this little girl. When I got my first yorkie I had two dwarf parrots that were let out of their cages when I came home from work. that all ended when I got this puppy. At 7 months old she would sit under their cages and salivate, she wanted to kill those birds lol. When they passed away I never got another bird again, the flapping of their wings would send the dog into a frenzy. I have heard of many members that have birds and yorkies and they have no problems, it all depends on the dog. so good luck and please keep us updated on your life with this new baby girl.
