ANY time you see drooling or something highly unusual like that - you should absolutely consider they could have been stung by something - and you should *always* give Benadryl immediately! Benadryl is a very benign med, however, it can literally save a life by mitigating the histamine response to an allergen or toxin.

You should always have Benadryl pills (cut to size) AND the liquid in your doggie emergency kit. The dose is 1-2mg/lb of body weight. In the case of stings, I always give the 2mg/lb dose.
