Ever since i started researching more about CT, I've noticed people do not recommend surgery for the dog. At first, i felt the same. However, his honking and coughing drives me crazy. I couldn't even fall asleep. I don't know what i can do for my dog for him to get better. I've read about air purifier could help and all the other stuff. Everytime he coughs, it breaks my heart and the vet also told me today about pneumonia. I've seen some posts saying that they had to put them down and i cant imagine I would have to do the same for mine. He's our family but on the other side I feel like putting him down would be good for the dog so he doesn't suffer anymore. I don't know what i should do. Is there anything that could help my dog to breathe better? |
My moms dog used hydrocodone for his CT and it helped a lot. You need the vet to make sure that he is not sick and its not kennel cough or pneumonia. The surgery is not a good idea is still experimental and just not a good fix because a lot of times is doesn't work.
