Today I just got Cali's latest blood work after spending several days in the ICU at the Emergency Vet Hospital (Blue Pearl) with a severe bout of pancreatitis three weeks ago. It was the only incident she has had.
The lab work is WONDERFUL! A little low in the thryroid area, but will retest in 6 months.
They are recommending that we stay on that nasty smelling prescription diet, but with the help of a bit of boiled chicken, we can do that!
Really feel like we ducked a bullet...and thank goodness for pet insurance!!
