Until then, we use a shower curtain folded in half at the bottom of his pen to catch the "overflow" when he misses the pad. It launders easily in hot water and doesn't retain any urine smell or stain. |
Peeing on the tree............it's a guy thing. lol We actually used a pee pad outside in the beginning. Our little girl has gotten so flexible but it did take time. When we go for walks I trained her to the command "that's not your lawn" so she won't pee on our neighbor's green lawns! When we fly she's trained to go on her pad in the airport bathrooms and in the airplane bathroom! It's a tight fit on a plane, but we make it work. Our only continuing challenge are those little cling-ons or "raisins" when she walks away before the last little poo drops off.
