I have read they say to startle (spelling) them if you catch them peeing in the wrong spot then pick them up and put them on the pad. We give zoey a treat and have a party everytime she goes on the pee pad so she remembers the treat I guess. I also use the spay they sell on the pads also. ZOey is now running into her pen to go on pad but we still Never leave her unattended and watch her all the time. It takes time....it'll get better.
