We take our guys for 2 long walks a day, but they're too tiny to hold their bladders for long so need plenty of potty breaks throughout the day.

Does anyone have an idea for what to do? I'd rather avoid taking them all the way down every few hours. Especially when my husband travels, I'd rather not venture into the street alone.

I've tried pee pads but they tend to confuse my dogs and they start peeing on bath mats and carpets.

Does Astro turf work well? litter box? I also have to travel, so can't take anything too heavy..... but I suppose certain things I could buy there!

Any ideas?

Thanks 😊

Were did they go before you moved? Was there grass or something on the balcony?

We use a silicone mat under our pee pad that holds it in place so it can't slip and slide. Our pup confused area rugs for a while but we found that normal training practices like restricting her access to rugs, using enzyme cleaner to get rid of accident smells, restricting her area until she successfully used the pad 100% and then expanding her area slowly all worked to fix the issue. We also found her pad could not move from room to room in the house. One location all the time. The silicone mat rolls up for easy packing when we travel and is inexpensive enough we actually have an extra we use for that purpose.
