Solving her skin issue has been so hard that I don't think I would venture to use Pantene or any other human product. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/Earthbath-Nat...th+conditioner |
BayleighL : Did your vet do a biopsy of your babys skin to diagnose her problem before giving antibiotics and prednisone? and what antibiotic did she give you? My Lily has very dry skin and it started with a quarter size spot and has spread and the vet has given me two shampoos and has done a small cut of her skin, no real answers, they want me to get her fixed real soon and while she is asleep, do a larger cut of her skin and pull two baby teeth, and charge me over $1K. I can't afford it, so I feel like a bad mama, I am doing the best I can with her, I do put coconut oil on her and a onsie and let it soak in and it does help, I bathe her in the special shampoo as directed but it is still there. I think I really need a doggie dermatologist for her. Everytime I go to this vet, no matter what, my bill is always over $125.00. I just got her 1 year shots and my bill was $189.00 that included the flu shot because the doggie flu was going around down here in Florida. I didn't want to take a chance, that was $50.00 itself. So, since she is so small, barely 6lbs, we have to go back in in two more weeks for the rest of the shots and the booster for the flu shot and pay another $100.00. I tell ya, I can't win. I know having pets are expensive, I have always had them, but I do feel like I am being taken. Sorry for the rant....I just need to know about the dry spot on your baby. Thanks for listening. Kimberly
