Sophie passed peacefully over the rainbow bridge this morning. We were dealing with some neurological issues recently and couldn't manage to figure out a treatment. Last night she fell and injured her knee and this triggered something and the rest of her limbs stopped working properly. She couldn't balance and just kept falling over and her front legs kept sliding out from under her and she couldn't correct them to stand back up. We talked for a long time with our vet and decided that her quality of life was not good and decided it was best to end her suffering.

My heart is broken, my whole world has ended and I don't know how to move forward. She was only 8 and I did everything I could for but even our vet noticed her personality change and she just seemed ready. She helped me with my anxiety and depression and without her I don't know what to do. But I needed to let her go and not keep her in pain and it able to walk for my benefit.
