Hi - yes, I've gone thru 3 knee surgeries w/ my kiddos and the cost was nowhere near that. My guess is that you could do it for btwn $1500-2500 - you can call around and get quotes, that's pretty easy.
If the canals have been ablated, then yes, he'd be deaf after that. Poor kiddo.
