Congrats on your new puppy. We too have a new puppy (16 weeks). Cute as a button but very challenging. She bites constantly. I have read and tried every solution. (No bite! Crating. Substituting a toy. Yelping like a litter mate, and MANY others.) Nothing works for her that I have found. I have successfully raised puppies before (Cocker, Danes but not a Yorkie) and I understand the puppy stage, but her behavior is escalating and she isn't scared of the Devil. She seriously growled and bit me today when I removed a plastic wrapper from her mouth. NOT a playful bite. We have school age grandchildren and I am concerned. She is very smart and can be sweet but I am hoping for some reassurance that this stage will pass and is not a temperament flaw. This isn't the type of behavior that I can tolerate in my home.
