i wanted a girl too....so i can put bows and dresses on her....get a pink (my favorite color!) carrier for her...but u are right. the price difference killed me. i got my yorkie male for $950. the same breeder was charging 1250-1300 for the females.
*i'm actually thinking about buying a female now.....just so Porter (my yorkie) can have a playmate.
