Yep. We have multiple gates ALL over our house, for various reasons/situations -- all to keep our babies safe and/or contained if/when needed.
It's not okay or right, in any way, to lose a pet multiple times. If a person cannot keep an animal in safe conditions - then they need to give it up to someone who can.
Having sick children is not an excuse for losing a pet, not ever. This dog was lost due to negligence. That's the truth and it really disappoints me and I'm scared for this poor dog's future, to be perfectly honest.  Save
