We are just the same! Fiance didn't really want a dog, but he knew I loved dogs and desperately wanted one. He was like, "instead of awwww-ing at every dog I see, lets just get one for you". lol...
Now, he proudly calls himself "Daddy" and will do so proudly even in front of other friends and family.
