My Yorkie and shih tzu both have allergies, I've tried several different typs of over the counter remedies. They even had a prescription from the vet, but that can be expensive. If you can figure out what makes her allergic and remove it if you can, that is a great help. for example my dogs, were suffering intense itching , but I could not find the source, until I realized one day I has all this pollen on my black pants from the dog park. That was the culprit. I changed dog parks, one that was farther away byt, had less trees, problem solved. I have used a special shampoo made by Burt's , they also have a spray, both products work well. But the only way to really get rid of it , is to find the source. Or take him/her to the vet.
