Yes Simparica is taken orally, my vet started Cody on it last summer. I ordered it from PetMeds in Feb. PetMeds was offering a 20% discount plus free shipping, no auto refill, sometimes PetMeds has 15% discounts. I believe my vet charges $101. for 6 month supply. Cody is 12 pounds, price is based on weight. I had to get the 11.1 to 22.0 package. I believe vets would ok purchasing from PetMeds no matter what they sell.
