Default Diabetes with high liver enzymes

So my boy has had Diabetes for almost a year. He's been pretty well regulated and eats and drinks well. I just took him in for a regular check up and they noticed his liver enzymes were just a bit high. I'm going back on Tuesday to talk to the vet more about it but I was wondering if any one with a diabetic dog had experience with this. I was thinking of changing his food once we are done with this bag, my other dog doesn't like it, I dunno if I'm going to have to go to prescription food or try to find a food that's ok for his allergies, diabetes, and liver I'm so sad, any advice would be appreciated
