 Introducing Toby....long read and pictures
Been a while since I posted. A few years back we lost our boy Frisco (17 y/o) and this left Codi as the only Pup in the house, and he was fine with that. Around mid November 2015, Codi was getting lethargic, and it was time for a trip to the Vet....he has always been extremely active, nothing slows him down...till this. Bloodwork revealed his Kidneys were in trouble, and the Vet found a Disc issue in his neck, and we had been noticing he has been tripping coming on the deck every now and then, and the Vet showed us how she would bend his front paw under, and he would try to step on it not realizing it wasn't flat. They sent us home with Meds and an appointment for more bloodwork...long story short, we had to put him down two weeks later....that last morning, he could only watch us with his eyes....no body movement...this happened overnight and we were not gonna wait any longer. Anyhow, took a year off and enjoyed the freedom, but also realized the house was empty. November 2016, we found Edward on Adopt a Pet Website from Beebe Humane Society in Beebe Arkansas, on Nov. 27, 2016, Edward was sent to us....he was almost 6 months old and is a real blessing. He has camped with us in our camper, and has been to Old Orchard Beach, Maine....Ocean City Maryland for his birthday to a campground that has a Doggie Beach....Bark Beach at Castaways Campgound, and we are about ready to head out to Cape Cod, and then back to Old Orchard Beach....this pup loves he water. He is now known as "Toby"....smart as a whip, crate trained and rings the bells to go out for a walk. First pic is from the website....second from Ocean City |
