Hi everyone,
I am new to this Yorkie Talk Forum looking for advice or others who have had this issue.
I am the proud owner of Bella who is a 7 month old Yorkie! We have had her for almost 4 months.
About a month ago we gradually switched her food over to Hills Science Diet Chicken & Barley wet food. She was fine for the 1st two weeks on the food. Over the past couple weeks she has been vomiting after she eats. She is vomiting up the entire food she just ate.
We feed her about 630am, a little more at 330pm and dinner at about 630pm. She may vomit one day and then the next day she will eat and not vomit at all. I have tried everything to find a pattern to see what could be causing this!
She always wants to eat so its not like she doesnt want to. Also after vomiting, she acts fine... plays with her toys etc...
We did take her to the vet on Monday because we are worried. Bloodwork was done and an Xray. One of her liver numbers were slightly elevated but Vet said nothing too concerning. The Vet is not much help i feel like. So i am trying to do some research on my own.
We just bought her Royal Canin Yorkie specific food (dry and wet). Maybe the different food will help stop the vomiting?? I also must mention that she does eat her food very fast. We are trying the bowl where she has to "work" for her food to get her to slow down while eating.
If anyone has experienced this please let me know!! I am at a complete loss as to what to do or what the problem could be?

This is stressing me out...I want my dog to be able to eat without throwing up! Poor girl!!
Thanks so much!!!!
