My Cali is a hearing dog. She was trained at a facility that trained hearing dogs and has been a god send. Could not drive without her. She was a real hero on a transatlantic flight when she "heard" and alerted to running water on the airplane that turned out to be a major leak that would have resulted in the plane having to have turned back if she had not heard it. She got steak from first class that flight
