Hi everyone!!! I've been reading a lot of forums on here but today I decided to become official and join!
My husband and I got our first yorkie, Kimi in March when she was 12 weeks. She's been a wonderful addition! Now to make things even more exciting we decided to adopt her brother/litter mate. Our breeder has had a difficult time finding a home for him(a family backed out) and I have noticed most yorkie owners have at least 2.
So first question is, will they recognize/remember each other? Next is that Kimi has a playpen where she has her "me" time, but also where she goes potty(she's only paper trained...a whole other topic! But we chose to not do outdoor potty training due to our external environment). Should I get her brother, Pluto, his own separate playpen? Or should I buy a larger one for them to share? I just worry about Kimi getting territorial. she has never shown any behaviors like that but she's only 6 months. I just want to be as prepared as possible. We have 3 weeks before we pick up Pluto. Excited but a little nervous!
