They told me not to worry, that it could be from stress or that it could disappear on its own - it is known as an innocent murmur that puppies and children grow out of.
We went back two weeks later and he was fine. I have my vets listen carefully every visit and they all say he has a strong, healthy heart.

Since her vet seems as unconcerned as mine was, it may very well be nothing to worry about.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Did your vet say that the murmur goes away? Is it genetic? Does this happen often? When you mean they will grow out of it.... do you mean they will heal or just not be affected by it. How old is your baby now? Thanks!
