Hello all!!
I'm happy to report that I'm finally getting my baby next month. She's a Rigair baby, ( so blessed to have found them they're such great breeders )She will be 5 months old and I have searched her for almost 2 years! Anyway I'm starting to buy things in preparation for her arrival. I do work full-time so I want to get her a playpen. The plan at the moment, is to crate train her when I'm home but when I'm not home I don't feel comfortable keeping her in a crate. Anyway I really like the iris playpens. The 4- panel one seem a little bit short to me so I've been looking at the 36 inch 8 panel ones. Concern I have is a lot of people complain that their dog was able to climb out of them. I know iris sells the mesh top for the 4 panel but it had some complaints. I know some people are super creative, so just wondering if anyone has a 36 inch 8 panel one and figured out a way to make a more secure top for it? Also open to other suggestions for other types of pens. Im also considering the Carlson convertible pet gate but I'm concerned about how it moving around on a laminate floor. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated!
