I think they get used to whatever they need to but these dogs probably love people more than any dog I have ever been around. They do okay home alone, but other dogs probably do better.

If you decide on one I would advise you to get one that is larger vs. the tiny version. The little ones can't be left that long and they are too fragile for small children.

Most of these dogs are pretty active so a walk and play time is required...unless you want a nutty dog at bedtime. Get two at once then they can wear each other out.
