Welcome to Yorkie Talk! Glad to have you hear! I have 2 yorkies and I am 20 years old! I leave my girls home during the day sometimes when I am at work but I come home for lunch and they are just fine! Yorkies are a very special breed and I think that you would really enjoy having a yorkie in your life.
Also my 2 are around little kids all the time and they are ok with it! You just really have to keep an eye on them bc they can break bones really easy they are little dogs and very fragile!
