We had our yorkie spayed at six months and before her first heat and never had any problem. In fact we had our last yorkie spayed before six months too and no problem with her either. We did not want to go through a first heat and our vet advised us the best way to do it. I am sure some of the breeders will help you on this but I think it is best to spay before first heat but that is my opinion. Hopefully someone can give you good advice. Susan |
