Our pup sleeps in a crate in our bedroom and then has a kitchen kennel made with pet fencing for other times. She isn't fond of being shut in her crate when we are gone. She does very well in her kitchen kennel when we are gone and we know she's safe. We can't yorkie-proof our home enough to just leave her out. Sometimes we leave music for dogs
