Sometimes it can take about two weeks to get them used to it so you might not get a lot of sleep. Training to do both outside and potty pads can be confusing for them. I used to prefer females but last spring I got my first boy and he is a huge cuddle bug and the sweetest thing ever. |
I've read that it's best to keep a puppy in the bedroom and wake up at night to take a puppy outside for toileting. Lots of conflicting info because I've also read that crate training in a different room and pee pads at night are both fine.

Either way, I'm prepared not to get a lot of sleep.
