That depends. I've had a lengthy discussion with a professor of genetics at a university on this topic. He had a different opinion, and he backed it up with plenty of science that was a little bit over my head. Me, personally, I'm uncertain. I kinda flip flop on my thoughts on this issue. But I am certain that there are a number of more considerations that a breeder of purebred dogs needs to take into account. I just don't know though. It's just one of those things.
