Our Bella has screamed when she thinks she's in danger. She's only done it three times or so, but when it happens, it really grabs your attention. She did it twice when she was playing with the cat, and once when Walter almost rolled over on her. We checked her over very carefully after each time, and she was her completely normal self. It's shocking when it happens, and you wonder how such a little dog can make a noise like that. It makes you be extra-vigilant.
