Thank you both for your replies! I gave Ty his first dose just a little bit ago. The vet prescribed 10mg. to start with. I am hopeful that the side effects will be minimal. I know when I first started on SSRI's myself, I didn't feel my best, but the side effects passed in about two weeks.
I am off work for the next couple of weeks, so I will be with him to make sure he is doing ok.
This was not an easy decision for us, so your reassurances are very welcomed!
