Her 20 year old grandaughter lives with her and her daughter was staying with her for 3 weeks to help get puppy settled so I don't think driving is the issue and even if the vacs were not prepaid money wouldn't be an issue. I really should offer to pick up the dog though and take it in just in case, but don't want to seem controlling. Still haven't heard anything else. I'm thinking it's a possibility she rehomed the puppy since even if she knew I would give most of her money back she is in a financial position that money wouldn't be her first concern.
