Welcome aboard ! Yorkietalk is the best, glad you found us!
I can relate to the baby fever, I have 3 daughters from a previous marriage of 11 years, after I divorced and married my husband who has no children, I felt that I needed to give him a child, but after having my tubes tied, I would have to have a reversal, well it was just not in the cards for us to have a child together, he really didnt care one way or the other, it was more me wanting the baby, but Kloey cured me of the fever! Really she is just like an infant, she has needs that I have to meet for her everyday! And yes, they are very dependent on us, Kloey follows me around everywhere, she wants to go bye bye when ever I leave, and when I'm on the computer, she has a small bed right up here to be close to me. But not always, there are times where she just wants to be left alone, and I respect that! But most of all there just fun loving dogs!
