I think weather or not dogs are allowed in hospitals, school, etc depends on the state law. I see that everyone in this conversation are in different states. Here in Texas, yes they are allowed however business owners have the final say so. I take my Tessa everywhere even in eating areas, of course she is small and in her purse bag, so I doubt many people even notice plus she's use to it and doesn't bark or make noise. I don't like leaving her by herself.
