Yep, happens SO often.
Along with a multitude of other reasons to not keep them. It is exactly why I asked her to rethink why she wants a yorkie.
Not only will the child possibly tire of the pup, the mom needs to know all about the little issues such as housebreaking and yapping that many people don't care for. It is so much more than a cute pup which is often the bane of the breed.
