I know you said no grain and stuff but a lot of the non grain holistic company's don't put research into their food. Royal Canin is an amazing company they do food trials and everything. I would not touch blue buffalo though they have very bad quality control and have been sued and lost several times for lying about what is in there food. I would definitely research any company you plan to go with.
