 Chewie did something concerning
It's been a long week and I need to answer posts later today, but we are rattled. She has a vet appointment today for something else. Long story short dan tripped over her yesterday. He was so upset he didn't go back to sleep. she was fine. She ate fine. she played fine. she jumped off of her surfaces. she was under my desk, she's not to go under there, and I wasn't aware. bonked her with my foot, and I hate doing that so I ran after her- she of course ran, too. I went to get her, coming at her in a different way than usual, but I picked her up like I always do. I touched her LIGHTLY in the same spot I had JUST picked her up not 20 minutes before and she screamed. I've heard her do that once before with her ears. She has always been a bit sensitive with that area, and our vet warned us that we had to handle her ears or have issues. She just hasn't screamed before like that with that area. Bit at Dan, yes. Flinched, yes. She's had xrays. Can these little guys suddenly scream like that if they are high strung like she is? I am VERY, VERY, rattled. |
