My Lucy weighs 7.2 lbs and last year she was diagnosed with an enlarged heart (around one and a half times the size it should be). At first she was only on Furozenol but her coughing and breathing didn't get better. The vet then put her on 1.25 Vetmedin twice a day. She's been taking them for around 8 months now. Her coughing decreased and her breathing improved, she doesn't have any side effects. She also takes 15g Furozenol (Diuretic) twice a day. She sleeps comfortably all through the night, however, recently she's started to cough again so she'll be off to the vet for a checkup, I usually take her every 3 months. |
