Just wanted to introduce myself. I have a beautiful Yorkie named Violet that I just adore. She just turned 1 in April of this year.
This site has been a blessing to me for the last couple of months. Therefore, I decided to join your group. There is so much information available and you are all so helpful. I just can't thank you enough. Over the last 5 weeks, I have found enough information to start home cooking for my girl. She refused to eat the dry kibble and was picky about the wet food. She LOVES her home cooked food and I enjoy cooking it for her. I do have a question for anyone who is also home cooking. Do they tend to drink less water on a home cooked diet vs. eating commercial foods? I don't see her drinking as much water although she is still going to the bathroom as much it seems. I'm still a bit nervous about all of this. I want to be sure she is not lacking anything in her new diet.
