Welcome. It sounds like you have really put a lot of thought into this. I think some would rather suffer the travel with you then be separated from you. I guess it depends on the dog's personality. If you can bear to be away from him and your husband for that length of time and they will be happy without you then I guess I would not subject him to the travel. Sorry, my geography knowledge is not that good so I really don't know exactly how long flights would be and if you are allowed to keep your dogs with you in the cabin or they have to fly as cargo there.
