I don't give rawhide or pigs ears either since my vet told me not too. I do give alternative to rawhide called smart sticks peanut butter flavor and they love those. They make smart bones also but I really worry about those becoming a choking hazard when the balls on the ends break off. With any bone/stick I always try to supervise as close as possible since I do worry about choking.
Just watch for not eating, vomiting or diarrhea which could mean a blockage or partial blockage. |
